Lynton graduated with a B.S. degree in Human Development from Vanderbilt University in 1989 and received a M.A. degree in Counseling from Adams State College in 2007. She is an EMDR Research Foundation Certified Therapist in EMDR. Lynton is also a Certified ionCleanse Practitioner. She is currently working on receiving her CAC II (Certified Addictions Counselor) and her LPC. Lynton is registered with the Department of Regulatory Agencies as a Psychotherapist #11403.
She has previously worked at the Center for Mental Health in Norwood and Telluride as a Substance Abuse Counselor and DUI Instructor; the Norwood HS as a Drug and Alcohol/Wellness Counselor; and has held a private practice in both Telluride and Ridgway Colorado.
Lynton is a survivor/teacher/healer of extensive life chapters in the world of addiction, codependence, recovery, co-parenting, personality disorders, PTSD and manic-depression. She is now dedicated to being of service to a higher consciousness that demands happiness as an evolutionary prerequisite to freedom.
She resides in Ridgway, Colorado with her patient and loving partner in a household of three daughters and two step sons whose spirits are alive with creativity and innovative possibilities for the future.
